Who doesn't love watching Wonder Woman kick Batman's ass? ( )

This is by far one of the best Wonder Woman stories ever told. ( )

Wonder Woman accepts a supplicant for her protection who invokes the ancient Amazon ritual of "Hiketeia". This young runaway girl is also sought by Batman for the murder of some pimps who caused the death of her sister, and inevitably the two champions come to blows. The conflict between the two is realistically depicted and the resolution is tragic and intriguing. Fine artwork by J. G. Jones, too. ( )

Batman and Wonder Woman come into conflict when a young woman, wanted for involvement in a crime seeks sanctuary at Diana's Amazon embassy. By her laws and beliefs she must take the girl in.

The girl has cleverly discovered this Hiketeia clause, and WW will fight Batman over it if she has to.

This does not end well.
