What are good resources for Consilience type research or discussion? I like www.edge.org, (mostly?) developed by John Brockman, who also writes about many researchers in books like The Third Culture, The New Humanists: Science at the Edge, etc.

It has been about 10 years since Consilience was written. Has much progress been made? Within the physical sciences I believe that the answer is yes. But is regard to unity of the physical and social sciences I believe that the answer is no. Your thoughts?
