Ajmera does an excellent job with this picture book. It consists of many different photographs from around the world to demonstrate the different or similar kind of activities that children engage in. This is a great book to introduce to a child about his/her heritage and other people's cultures and ethnicities. ( )

"Text and photographs from countries around the world illustrate some of the activities children everywhere have in common."

Summary: Immediately the reader shares a common bond with the many different nationalities. Though, the text is limited to the many common threads between all nations, it exposes the the reader to the vastness of the Universe.

Review: A good first reader for the early developing child. The best part are the many smiles shared within and among different countries, doing ordinary to even mondane activities.

Extension Ideas: This book exposes the cultural differences and similarities of activities of daily living, common among our own country folk, as well as, how we share, respect, learn, and appreciate other developing countries and our own. ( )
