Read this book a long time ago. I kept it this long, because I wanted to re-read it and write a proper review. But... rereading never happened.

This was my first book by Leon de Winter and I was actually surprised that I liked it this much. I never thought that could be with a Dutch (literary) author. (I guess the years of reading Dutch literature for my grammar school reading list has taken its toll..)
An interesting book, filled with nostalgia, homesickness, memories, action and how to live a life outside your own country. ( )
