The thing that I like best about this book is that it doesn't just show the Vietnam War soldiers, it tells the whole story. The soldiers overseas, the protesters back at home, the Jesus Movement that took place in the younger generation, and the problems (both mental and social) that the soldiers faced returning home. And you experience everything through one family and their struggles. ( )
