On my list to read is Sail and Breakfast at Tiffany's by James Patterson. Also, on my list is Girls in Trucks by Katie Crouch. But first I have to finish my current book, I'm having a hard time finding the time to read during these summer months! 36. Breakfast At Tiffany's by Truman Capote

Now reading Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote. I decided to start with the shorter ones I hadn't read. I always loved the movie, and after reading another of Capote's books (In Cold Blood) last year, I figured I should try the original it was based on. A much more realistic and less romantic version, the original is still ... ... great deal, too.
I tried In Cold Blood a couple of years ago and just couldn't connect with it. I have since read the Breakfast at Tiffanys collection. I read a good bit of true crime but just never could get through In Cold Blood. I'll have to try it again. ... was written in such a thorough journalistic way, it was truly fascinating (does that mean I am really morbid?)

Just today I read Breakfast at Tiffany's. While at the bookstore, I also picked up Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Never Let Me Go, and I'll probably read those in the next few weeks ... ... him that, but I've found myself desperately wanting to love his other books, but it never seems to happen. Thankfully, Breakfast at Tiffany's was salvaged when they made it into a movie.
My apologies to other Capote fanatics, but I have tried, I promise! Just finished reading Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote.

you might try these Capote's books
A Christmas memory and The Grass Harp. I finished Breakfast at Tiffany's, including the three stories that follow the title story and I enjoyed it very much. An author who can create characters with amazing ability.
I also finally finished Jane Eyre which was also a very good read. I particularly liked the middle, with the plot ... Just finished Breakfast at Tiffany's which I enjoyed. I don't think the other three stories in the book also count for the list, but I intend to read them anyhow, just to finish the book.
Still reading Jane Eyre which is going a lot faster now I've discovered a lovely on-line version that I ... ... the ending, things took a very surprising turn. I did not see that one coming!
That was #7.
Now I'm going to start Breakfast at Tiffany's I think. ... as they're supposed to be. The pre-ending was pretty surprising, definitely did not see that one coming!

That aside, I must say that I'm surprised no one has mentioned Breakfast at Tiffany's. After reading the book (novella, really), that's one book where I'll actually tell people not to bother to read the book. Of course, the Seinfeld ... ... book may not be the one to explain to the people where things are going wrong with the citizens-politics connection.

I feel like the last person on earth who hasn't read this story or seen the movie! Decided to have Breakfast at Tiffany's so walked down Cloudstreet but as I was Down and Out in London and Paris I read the paper instead on Riceyman Steps and waited for my Girl with a Pearl Earring. Got up to get Breakfast at Tiffany's down Cloudstreet but being Down and Out in London and Paris decided to forego that and just sit and read in My Beautiful Laundrette until Little Women came along ... Yes, but the bookstore only has editions currently in print.
A quick look at Abebooks shows that Breakfast at Tiffany's has been included in other anthologies, so I wouldn't assume that everything listed under that title is the volume with the three other Capote ... Well, I wanted to clean up, but I don't know where to start. There's Breakfast at Tiffany's and there's Breakfast at Tiffany's and Three Short Stories. The later is clean. The former includes a multitude of copies of the later. But I can't tell if the former is just BAT or if BAT has always ... I purchased:

So far a total of three people (not ... I finished Breakfast at Tiffany's and am now reading Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I finished Breakfast at Tiffany's and the included short stories last night. I was very impressed with Breakfast at Tiffany's--I hadn't realized going in how ground-breaking it was.
I'm continuing to read very short books in anticipation of receiving in the mail the book I need to read for my ... ... Farrell, which was good but in my opinion not as strong as the first two books in his Empire trilogy. I'm now reading Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote. ... finished A Month in the Country by J.L. Carr yesterday, which was a lovely little gem of a book.
