This is a great book that will use to teach my students about Helen Keller and to give them the idea and determination to never give up no matter what circumstance is thrown in front of you. I highly recommend this book to any child. ( )

The inspirational life of Helen Keller, from cradle to grave, is told in this comprehensive and approachable biography. Profusely illustrated with period photographs, Helen’s life unfolds before the reader in all its richness and complexity. Unlike the typical biographies of Helen Keller written for younger readers that focus on her early life, this DK Biography thoroughly addresses the totality of the evolution of the wild child to the world traveling humanitarian and lecturer. Highly recommended for readers of all ages. ( )
