I found the book report I wrote about this when I was in school. I seemed to have liked the book but then again, I may just have been buttering up the teacher. How about this line: "If I apply patience to my life, I can be patient in waiting for school be out". Hudson Taylor was a patient man. I got an A on the report, BTW. ( ) Biography of J. Hudson Taylor, the missionary who had a passion for the people of Inland China to know Christ. Written by his son and daughter-in-law with the heavy use of voluminous diaries and letters. Leaving England in 1865, Taylor met with hostility, disease, sweltering summer heat and primitive conditions in China. He buried a wife and four children, victims of disease. He would not ask for money, but rather used concerted prayer and fasting to find that God was faithful in his supply. Well-written and inspiring. no reviews | add a review
