I was a little disappointed in this book! It was okay but I thought it sounded a little like a watered down version of Sons of Anarchy. I didn't think that the synopsis was very accurate either. She had only been on one date with his brother so it wasn't like Kyle (the brother) was actually her boyfriend. The way that Jack was described in the book in my mind did not match the cover at all. Emma talks about breaking up with Kyle when they are on their second date. I don't consider that a boyfriend. Jack is with a girlfriend at the beginning so that is accurate. I felt like the story was more about their relationships and dating other people than it was about them being together. Jack did not really seem like an outlaw either. His family was the head of the MC and he did one thing for them that I could tell and her was nervous the whole time. Something that particularly bugged me was that these people were suppose to be in college but they had lockers.

When Jack and Emma do finally get together the story is rushed. Only the last 2 chapters are about their relationship with each other. The book ends shortly after they get together and most of what it does say about them is about their sex life. If you want to read a softer MC story then this is perfect. It only took me a couple of hours to read. ( )
