Garo happens to be one of my favorite villains. Of many mangas, even. I love to root for him just the way that he loves and roots for the monsters. I mean, seriously, anti-heroes are a dime a dozen, right? Someone who actively WANTS to be a monster because heroes are such freaking lousy people just makes GOOD SENSE, right?

Right! So let's all become monsters!

Wait. He's also kind of a dick. Ah, well, at least he's fun to read. :) ( )

I really do love this series.

But time to get serious. I like how this volume shows the corruption and selfishness that plagues both heroes and villains. Garo could have easily been a hero, but chose to be a villain. Hellish Blizzard is a hero that intentionally holds other heroes back so she can feel superior.

Time for Saitama-sensei to teach these lost children a lesson. ( )
