This book is an interesting concept. Younger kids will especially enjoy the easy pattern that can be seen as you move throughout the book. Recommend fro ages 3-6. ( )

This is a wonderful picture book illustrating all the ways an extended family can share time with each other. Children should have no problem connecting with the activities depicted in the story. The illustrations are charming and worth a second look to see what detail you may have missed the first time. This book would also be great for teaching verbs, as one verb is highlight on each page. It would also be a great mentor text with which to model writing. ( )

A cute book, well-illustrated, about a family's summer vacation. My son liked finishing the sentences with the highlighted words, and asked me to read it again tomorrow - a rousing endorsement from a 4 year old! ( )

We really liked this book! The illustrations are delightful and the story is told with few words in a fun, engaging way. A young reader will enjoy helping out with the last word on each page. The book positively portrays a big, happy, extended family with members of all ages who enjoy spending time together. Definitely one we will read over and over. ( )
