This work is a compilation of one of today's greatest liberal ministerial voices, which is Carolyn Owen-Tolwe's, voice. These eighteen sermons are some of Owen-Tolwe's best, as chosen by Rising Press. The subtitles of each reveal a great deal. A few will be provided here. Toward a New Paradigm: Partnership: I believe we must find our way out of the old dominator world into a new world of partnership. A Case for Imperfection: Remember, it is striving, not simply obtaining, that counts. At the Belly of Our UU Faith: If women once again are forced against their will to give birth, they will lose their tenuous hold on autonomy. The Religious Education Dilemma: Our faith grows over a lifetime. We cannot deliver it to our children in packaged form. That sermon sums up that, which so many people who practice the Unitarian Universalist Faith, grapple. If one only has time to read one or a few of these sermons, that time would be well spent.
