Fiction. Romance. Short Stories. HTML:#1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends With Us writes a free novella about the search for happily ever after.
A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love has conditions: they agree it will only last one hour and it will only be make-believe.

When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them only seemed perfect because they were pretending it was perfect. Moments like that with girls like her don't happen outside of fairytales.

One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in insta-love is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. But Daniel soon realizes that fairytales don't exist, and unfortunately for Daniel, finding Cinderella doesn't guarantee their happily ever after...it only further threatens it.

not a bad read for a short story but still feels like a rushed Lifetime movie. ( )

After reading Maybe Someday, this was a sweet welcome. Thank Pau, for recommending this. I love the story.

I couldn't blame Six for her decision, but still feel a bit emotionally damaged because I wanted to see them as family. ( )

Loved it but only gave it 4 stars. Too Short. Hope Colleen writes more for Daniel and Six. ( )

My daughter-in-law and my first-born granddaughter first introduced me to Colleen Hoover and I really enjoy this author. Recently I found this FREE novella and read about the author and her story. I was so pleased to discover that she is a Texas author, but also a local author! Highest praise and keep writing! Highly recommended.

Short and sweet. I liked the story but I'd love to go back and read the original Hopeless to figure out if all the facts in this book actually lay out accurately. The timeline might be a tad off. ( )
