This book is surprisingly thorough. I bought it in desperation. After reading other books and seeing "specialists" who seemed clueless I finally found a reference manual to arm me when seeing doctors, doctors, amd more doctors. I have also loaned this book to others who have struggled with thyroid problems and it never fails to assist people with treatment and having educated conversations with their doctors. If you have - or suspect you have - a thyroid problem then this is one to have on hand to refer to. ( )
