Forgotten fruit : the English orchard and fruit garden (edition 1983)

Although rather dated now, this is a pleasant read through some of the older varieties of fruit once grown in England. Taking examples from gardening and general literature and nicely illustrated. A useful appendix lists all the varieties mentioned in the books along with (then current) suppliers. ( )
