I have numerous books on this subject and a couple of issues of this one. My family has donated my grandfathers large collection of artifacts from the early 1900s. Some of the artifacts, which many in it, this and all books and collections pale to, are an important piece of history of the great peoples that produced them along with any other artifact. None of which should be considered a greater or lesser piece of the whole .

That this book garners a rating of just two is inappropriate, especially without comment,. Just simply for the attempt to collect the information and pictures which may add to the already large volume of often incorrect, invalid and distorted information"experts" seem to think they have validated.

I will continue to digest, evaluate, use for reference, and may eventually find reason to rate this book. But for now it can't be as low as a two.

Estimated values, their relativity to each other and times change and are extremely deviant from different individuals, markets and auctions.
