None. Looking forward to using the poemstarts for Z to dictate some poems to me. ( )When Jack Prelutksy posted the first couplet of a funny poem on a Web site and invited children to finish it, he expected about 100 responses. He got thousands. This is an anthology of poems on 10 popular subjects by well-known poets combined it with Jack's own "poemstarts." Included with each poemstart are suggestions for various ways the reader might continue the poem. Jack Prelutsky gives examples of poems on a topic and then he does a "poemstart" to help kids to write one of their own. He gives suggestions and ideas for how to approach the poem. This would be a great book for students and teachers to use to get students to try writing poetry lines to finish his poems. Then...hopefully, they will want to write some of their own without his help. This is a great book to get childrens minds on rhyming words. There are many different poems that you can read and then it helps you write your own poem and gives your key rhyming words. This is a great book to make your students think creatively. This is a poetry book that gives examples of poetry then helps your write your own poetry. It is specifically made for children, and has interesting topics like bugs and friends. This is a great teaching tool because it makes learning to write poetry more fun. no reviews | add a review
