Hard to give stars to. I really struggled with this. It tells the story of a marriage - actually two marriages - from three perspectives - but ends up being much more than that, a commentary, perhaps, on life after wartime and all that perished culturally in Europe, after WWII. Beautifully written and the translation has a real flow. I found it cold though, and unrelentingly bleak.

Li a tradução para o português. Um livro muito bom, profundo e com muita subjetividade. O livro na realidade são três livros cada um contando quase a mesma história pelo ponto de vista dos 3 principais personagens. ( )
