A cute segway from the original Pokey Little Puppy. Yes, he is still digging under fences to get out...but this time, he goes off and finds Sesame Street. He is treated with Star like qualities by the gang at Sesame street and he is fed as they throw a mini party for him. When he comes back home, his brothers all laugh at him that he missed his rice pudding and milk but he goes off to sleep with a belly full of food and content with how he spent the day. He knows he had a better day than the other puppies.

Unlike other Golden Books where a young reader can attempt to read the words here, this book is really meant for a show and tell. The word print is small and the pictures are big. And, if your child is not a fan of either one of these genre's, the Pokey Little Puppy or Sesame Street, he or she will not get much out of it. ( )
