Peggy Cegonian and Eric Matheson are unconnected...to each other and most other people. Like a lot of people now, they move around a lot. They are well educated and look good...even look successful...but they don't have countries they can call their own. They don't have lovers and they barely have careers or family ties. They live alone and they live thousands of miles apart. But Peggy has a drawing that she found as a kid and she needs Eric to tell her what it's worth. Almost penniless she manages to stalk him, from San Fransisco to Boston, New York, Oxford and Dublin. She's after an attribution and, as it turns out, it has to be from him. Peggy tells her side of the story first and then Eric tells his. No library descriptions found. |
