The last title in the Back Cat Bookshop Mysteries doesn't disappoint. A murder in the neighborhood throws Darla, with retired NYPD friend Jake's help, into the fray. Darla can defend her interest in the investigation to the always irritated detective Fiorello Reese because a collectible book from Pettistone's Books becomes a possible clue.

This is a fun series, I'm sorry to see it end! ( )
