The worldbuilding was the star, here - a fascinating book universe that you just want to learn more about. The main character is unique in this genre - leaping in with both feet, and eyes wide open! I loved that refreshing difference from the usual werewolf romance. The no-holds-barred three way romance it sets up is truly entertaining. ( )

Short story in a series where a young woman offers herself up to a pack of werewolves in exchange for protection of her township. Little does she know that there will be two alphas vying for her attention, which could be a really bad thing, or a really good thing. ( )
