Read this as an autobiography and and found it very interesting. I would like to read it again at the length it deserves. ( )

After the clock anomaly on the first page, this was an easy read - some charming language aberrations suiting the French first language narrator writing in English.

This is billed as a debut novel and as a novel it lacks interest, character development and plot - far too personal. If, however, it is actually an autobiography, it would get a higher rating as autobiography - it would not need character development and plot and would be interesting as a real story. ( )
