River and three of her friends, all former police women fed up with the male dominated force, establish the Miss Demeanor Private Investigation Agency in Seattle. River accepts a job looking into the alleged car accident of a client's parents and ends up cooperating with homicide detective Gage Hamlin.
P.I. I Love You was a short romantic suspense story with the emphasis on suspense. Very entertaining with witty banter between the characters and good chemistry between River and Gage. It's the first in a series, and I would definitely be interested in reading what these private investigators get up to next.
I received a copy from the author via NetGalley in exchange for an unbiased review. ( )
