One night when Danny is unable to sleep and during a freak thunderstorm, a stupendous lightning bolt flashes through his bedroom window, seeming to strike him, a postbox and a mirror all at once. When he has recovered from the shock, he goes to inspect the still-smoking mirror frame and sees his scared reflection in the glass. Only there is something not quite right about the boy in the mirror...
