Yes, this is my book. My review counts for little except to tell you the book exists--and a little more about my writing of it. I started Ryan and Essie when I was 8 and worked on it until I was about 15. Then it faded, though I always knew I would finish it when I had learned enough. Ryan and Essie are special characters to me. They've been in my head for so long that a part of me feels they are real people I actually knew--and that the events in the story really happened. Hopefully some of that deep connection to a living world of the story will carry over to you the reader too. ( )
