I received this ARC in return for an honest review and I jumped on the story! Chance Carter spins a humorous tale about Grant Lucas's firm denial that he'd never get married! Grant was bound for prison if not for the kindness of a man who took him into his home and showed him how to steal legally. He was skilled at ripping people off but he learned how to steal from corporations and give back to ordinary folks that needed the money to survive. At first when he saw Lacey Eden he fell in love but she was seventeen and he honored her father.

Lacey Eden fell in lust when her father brought Grant home. She secretly fantasized about Grant laying hands on her and making love to her. Later, she compared every man to him and they always ended up cheating on her. All she wanted at thirty-four was a good husband and babies, and she was tired of waiting on Grant to make his move and signed up for a dating site. ( )
