Interesting plot, characters well drawn, however book could have been about 2/3 as long- author did not leave any detail out- so much so that the story was lost in minutae, too bad she didn't keep track of things like the colour of the heroine's hair- it was brunette for awhile, then it turned honey blond! The heroine's response to the final proposal was quite out of character/period. A good editor could have made this a much better book. ( )
