Too much use of F word though as a retired employee of DEA I get it. Interesting memoir of the meth problem in San Diego mostly and its growth through country; as well as pharmaceutical measures to control the use of precursors used in the making of meth by tweekers. Accurately portrays roadblocks put up by Congress and SuperPACS and lobbyists. Politicians have no interest in finding solutions or otherwise try to lessen the problem. Very accurately portrays DEA HQ and the decreasing quality of management at all levels. If it weren't for them, the DEA Field Divisions could accomplish more. Also, could appreciate her sarcasm and irony. Takes a lot to be a survivor in the DEA of today. You gotta believe in the mission, even if those above you don't. Finally, Levine is a great writer and maybe she has some novels in the pipeline? ( )
