Rogovin (1909-2011) was an optometrist in Buffalo, NY, who turned to photography as a means of expression when he was discredited--and there after lost his business--by the HUAC committee in 1952. For the rest of his life he documented the lives of the working class around the world. Photographs by Milton Rogovin; appreciation by Paul Strand; foreword by Robert T.
