This book was aptly named. Eva Cassidy was the quintessential Songbird. I never cease to get goosebumps when I hear her voice. Even as I write this, I have them. I was knocked out by her voice the first time I heard it; I had to know who she was. I later learned much to my dismay that she was no longer with us. Thankfully, she left behind a lot of wonderful music. A truly gifted artist and voice and taken from us far too soon. My only hope is that she knew how much she was loved and appreciated. ( )
