Very annoying. I know Anthony is afraid of dying young you really don't have to remind me every other page. Who can resist a smart plain girl who makes the handsome rake fall head over heels? With the new season covering this coming out in March, I am ahead on Bridgerton and I liked this more than the first, partly because Kate isn't as daft as Daphne and Anthony's fear of mortality is very relatable. Very much looking forward to their verbal sparring. Maybe Bridgertons should avoid meeting prospective romances in gardens though if they don't want to rush to the altar. summer 2022 update: after having watched Bridgerton Season 2 a few times all the way thru I can say SEASON 2 IS BETTER THAN BOOK 2. . . imo. (
