ehh. I'm not sure I will continue with the series, I mostly just wanted to read Anthony's story because of the actor playing him.

summer 2022 update: after having watched Bridgerton Season 2 a few times all the way thru I can say SEASON 2 IS BETTER THAN BOOK 2. . . imo. ( )

My favourite romance book ever. ( )

Read this after watching Season 2 on Netflix and falling hard for Anthony and Kate.

There's a lot of good stuff in the book but it is SO REPETITIVE. Very annoying. I know Anthony is afraid of dying young you really don't have to remind me every other page.

Who can resist a smart plain girl who makes the handsome rake fall head over heels? ( )

Trauma bonding

Huh, Kindle stopped to review before I got to the second epilogue that was added later, fascinating.

With the new season covering this coming out in March, I am ahead on Bridgerton and I liked this more than the first, partly because Kate isn't as daft as Daphne and Anthony's fear of mortality is very relatable. Very much looking forward to their verbal sparring.

Maybe Bridgertons should avoid meeting prospective romances in gardens though if they don't want to rush to the altar. ( )
