Trivia. Not spectacularly uninteresting, but in some places hilariously out of date. ( )

Look around -- the world is full of perplexities, puzzlements and peculiarities, all just begging to be explained. Imponderables provides the answers. Inside these pages are innumerable insights into science, nature, history and daily living, written both to entertain and enlighten.

All the Imponderables books are fantastic! The author takes on the kind of questions we all wonder about but no-one seems to know the answers to, and does all he can to figure out why! Most all the questions in later books in this series are submitted by readers, and I submitted a lot to him at one time. He always answered very kindly, and I was thrilled to see my name in one of his later books! Additively readable.
