Summary: As the title suggests, this book is about cats. There is a girl that plays with the cats, chases the cats, counts the cats, and so forth. Response: This book is a very simple read. Connection: It is great for beginning readers since it only has 4 or 5 words on each page. The illustrations will also help the reader along by giving hints to what the words say. ( )
