One of Marvel's earliest graphic novels, this was from 1968 before Gwen and Captain Stacy died, and is about Spider-Man's attempts to thwart a corrupt politician. Not much of a story, and it's in black-and-white on cheap paper, but it does provoke a very pleasant nostalgic sensation. Those were exciting times to be a comic book reader. The world was changing, and Marvel's books (more so than DC) reflected it. ( )
