I enjoyed even though at times I was frustrated that Haylee allowed Josh to treat her the way she did. I would have stopped when he continued to go out with other woman. But finally, when he wakes up, she is not ready, and we have some emotional moment. But they do get together. ( )

An absolute intriguing book. A wonderful love story between two very different people. I loved the references to fashion and vintage clothing. Haylee was an executive assistant to a company man, living in California, and trying to save up money to go to law school. She had lost both her parents a few years apart recently and was still coping with that loss. One day, out of the blue, a windfall came her way and set her life in motion to meet Josh. Josh was a millionaire multi business owner, set in his ways. But one look at Haylee and something clicked. He offered her a job in New York with no questions asked. He whisked her away and their romance began. But it had to be secret. The two were sexually compatible and went into the relationship with no strings. But life has a way of changing things and one way or another, things got sticky.

Gawd, I wanted this love story to just keep going on. I loved how Haylee anchored Josh, but he was the one there for her when she needed it the most. Will definitely remember this author and look forward to reading more from her. ( )
