A guidebook to how India is solving it's serious development issues through the use of digital identification to revolutionise how the country operates to eliminate corruption and waste, reach the people that are supposed to benefit while saving vast sums of money. Every country should be following their example. ( ) The book begins by discussing the development and complexities involved in creating the Aadhar platform. The extensive research done in this regard has been detailed very well. The single purpose of Aadhar - identity verification - is the core of its elegance. This is followed by sections that discuss its implementation, security and its 'ubiquitous' (so to speak) applicability. Aadhar's multi-factor authentication aligns with the current industry standard of verifying at least two pieces of information in two different ways. The book then reviews about 10 ideas that have the potential to transformation India to a truly developed nation. Applications of Aadhar like microATM, eKYC are going to help millions of Indians. Provisioning of subsidies directly to customers for LPG has already the country saved billions of rupees. This concept is applied to a few other crucial scenarios as well. I learned a lot from this book and enjoyed every chapter - so a definite 5 star. no reviews | add a review
