It was a good fun read. A bit far-fetched at times, but hey - it's fiction after all. ( )

One of my favorites in the series. This book takes you a bit away from the world of thoroughbred racing as Sierra is not performing on the flat. Samantha and her boyfriend Tor, train Sierra to be a steeplechase racer. When Tor is injured and Samantha has to ride the rebellious colt, will they win? I enjoy this book so much because you can see the maturity aging in Joanna Campbell's series and there is hints of romance in here along with great horsemanship. Amazing book! ( )

It's going to be another one of those workouts, Samantha McLean thought grimly as she rode Sierra onto the training oval at Whitebrook.
