This story was the only english language book my wife could find me the year we lived in Huehuetenango Guatemala. She got it for christmas for me one year and it was a bit of a family joke. But when I read it, I loved it. It is a true story of life trapping animals for the circus in the early part of the 20th century. Makes Water for Elephants look like a cakewalk. And it is a true story.
