I didn't expect to like this as much as I did given the first issue felt rather weak. But instead of being episodic, each successive issue in this volume built on each other and the pay-off was totally worth it. Fans of the show would love this. Though I had an issue with how Kara was drawn by all the artists; she looked too waiflike for my tastes. Also, I do expect in graphic novels that are media-tie-ins to a TV show or movie that the characters would be recognizable as the actors, but they aren't here. It was a bit jarring, but I eventually rolled with it. ( ) no reviews | add a review
