First book of the "second" trilogy of the Apprentice Adept series (although even that was screwed out by coming out with a seventh book~Piers, Piers, Piers...) My boyfriend (of the time) was a little bored with the themes by this time but i was new to it all so i seemed more fresh to me. ( )
