I love Fred Astaire. He's a great actor and an even better dancer. But honestly, this book had the opposite effect on me. Instead of retaining the joy the man Fred Astaire gave his fans, the book dully drudges through Fred's life without any emotion so speak of. It bored me to tears (though not literally). Here's some advice: choose a different biography. ( )
