Emma wants a pet - a big soft cuddly pet - so she goes searching for one, but all of the potential pets she finds have their shortcomings. Then she sees the biggest, softest, cuddliest thing she'd ever seen - her father. "Will you be my pet?" she asked. "Always," said her father. "Will you be mine?" It's this exchange in the final pages of the book that melt my heart every time I read them aloud. The board book retains all of the artwork as well as the size of the original hardcover, making it a fine choice for toddler hands. Fans of this sweet bear cub will want to check out other Emma titles: Fix-It, Emma's Vacation and Emma in Charge. no reviews | add a review
