Larsen passionately derides the enormous swathe that television and political correctness have cut through culture today. Indeed, he argues that it is nearly impossible for younger people to have a grip of academic discipline and cultural history. I believe that Larsen and his book are leading a necessary conversation that most thinking people are avoiding. Why don't you take a couple of nights away from television and read this provocative book? ( )
