Clever, good for girls who want to be princesses without being so 'radical man-hating feminist' to be unpalatable to those same girls. Not needed by girls who already know better than to want to be princesses.

Beyond the theme, the language, details, jokes, and illustrations are all charming, too. Just one thing - I wish I understood who all those individuals at the wedding feast are supposed to be. Do you know? ( )

The hilarious illustrations will engage students in a story about a witch who learns to accept herself as she is. A great book to teach the idea that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ( )
