Evangeline Glennon grows up in a small town where every day is the same and her life is so predictable. However, the world is changing and so is her predictable life.......enjoy!

This was a good read. I can tell that [a:Marie Bostwick|489648|Marie Bostwick|http://www.goodreads.com/images/nophoto/nophoto-U-50x66.jpg] had talent back in the day. She has really polished her style since she wrote this book. There are some real pearls of wisdom in this book, which made me want to underline them and write them in my quote book. I especially liked one of the last scenes where Eva and Mrs. Hutchinson are talking about Eva's "status"/ place in the town. I had a hard time believing the part about Morgan's father, but just went with it. Bostwick did a really good job wrapping up the end of this book.

"Fields of gold" tells the story of Evangeline Glennon, a young woman who is certain her future in Dillon, Oklahoma will be as predictable and flat as the miles of wheat that stretch from her front door to the edge of horizon. She is wrong.
