This series should be the next show ( )

Another excellent volume in the Darth Vader series. This time around, Vader gets a little more characterization, which is very compelling. His rampage of death and destruction is incredibly intense, more so than previous issues. ( )

These books have a dizzying amount of details and plot threads never seen in the movies... and yet, they are generally crafted well - and done well with beautiful art. Anything with Dr. Aphra and her murderous droids is great, and this has them in spades. ( )

Pros
Vader's full evolution into the dark side
Vader feels sort of like a wounded, rage filled monster that just wants to lash out at everything
Vader feels physically challenged
Theme of technology vs humanity and how that plays into Vader being a cyborg
Aphra and Vader's relationship is perfectly ended
Some minor character that were efficient but enjoyable
You really want to see the antagonist fail
Cons
Some emotional moments I felt could have been more built up before hand

9/10 Great. A stellar finale that wraps up what is officially one of my favorite Star Wars stories ever. A must read for any Star Wars fan, whether or not you like comics. ( )

Great ending to this story. I honestly didn’t expect Vader to handle Doctor Aphra the way he did. Really enjoyed this graphic novel. ( )
