Lady Adelaide vows never to marry and be controlled by any man. Lord Armand de Boisbaston needs a wealthy bride to ransom his brother.

This is romance #4 of 89. My bestie Abbi gave me 89 romances when she moved and I had never read one before that.

I did not review this one right after I read it. But I remember I was unable to stay caught up in the story because minor historical inconsistencies and the heroine seemed like a women of this time period plucked down in that one.
