( ) The Trial Women’s Murder Club, Book 15.5 I Picked Up This Book Because: Continue the series. Media Type: eBook/Audiobook Source: CCP Library Dates Read: 10/11/22 - 10/27/22 Stars: 4 The Characters: Lindsay Boxer: Police detective Clair Washburn: Medical Examiner Yuki Castellano: Attorney Cindy Thomas: Crime desk reporter The Story: The SFPD has finally got KingFisher in custody, and it is time to bring him to justice. Or is it? This gives us closure to the KingFisher tale. I was completely taken aback by the ending so I’m curious to see where it goes. The Random Thoughts: It seems that James Patterson's Bookshots are about resurrected enemies of his main characters. Like Cross Kill, this book starts out with Detective Lindsay Wagner and partner Rich Conklin called to a fancy nightclub where the Kingfisher has supposedly executed two attractive girls, one of whom was a lover who jilted him. He is taken into custody, but everyone is scared, especially after key people start getting killed, attacked or threatened. Not really sure this is worth reading as little is added to the series. no reviews | add a review
