personal response:This is a fun adventure book. For me it lost its way a bit taking too many twists and turns from where I thought the plot was originally going to go. I did like the fact that different mythological creatures were brought in, but I think I would have enjoyed the story more if it didn't include the two characters traveling to the Underworld and remained more of a 'stop the Greek mummy' type of story.

If you like Percy Jackson and the Olympians, this is a similar mythological romp but for a younger reader. ( )
